Hi, I'm relocating out of Singapore in end feb next year and plan to sell my 3 bed unit. Since I still need to live here for about a year, when do you suggest I work with an agent to start the marketing.

Good morning seller,

You can consider to start marketing 6 months before you leave for overseas. Legal completion is about 3 to 4 months. If your unit is priced correctly, you should be able to find a qualified buyer within 3 months marketing period.

If not, you can start marketing now. You can propose a longer completion period if not suggest to rent back the unit from buyer for a short period of time whichever you think it's better for you.

Hi, for your case it would be mad rush and urgent if it is a little too last min. So I would suggest the marketing of your unit could start as early as 6 months before you leave Singapore. As due to the weak marketing sentiment, it would takes a longer time than usual to get a unit sold. And at the same time, you could think of a person whom you might want to appoint him or her as POA too.
